First UK sale of Wagyu genetics

The first Wagyu Breeders Association sale of Wagyu cattle and genetics was held at Hexham auction mart on the 30^th June.

               The star of the sale was a heifer with calf at foot which sold for £13,000 .

Here at Northumbrian Wagyu we had a great sale with embryo’s at £600.00 and semen at £100.00 per straw.

Six Wagyu steaks that we displayed were sold in aid of the great north air ambulance for £300.00.
